JOVE, for overhead lines mechanical computation

The software JOVE is specialised in mechanical computation for transmission and/or distribution overhead electrical lines.  Available in 13 languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Hongarian, Turk, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Arabic), it may easily be translated in any other language.

It allow to store mechanical and cost data for all parts that may be used for building a line (conductors, supports, foundations, ...) as well as informations the environment (topographY, geotechnique, climat, ...) and on the regulation to be used (including the very sofisticated russian regulation), and it optimised the support spotting along the chosen line axis.

The results obtained insclude the stress everywhere (dawn to each bar of each support for transmission lines using lattice towers), conductors' spacing, foundations selection, sag for each span and detailled building cost.

Key benefits
"Productivity earning for you engineers teams, safety and reliability improvement for the line in all possible and predictable climatic conditions. The cost saving compared with more traditional spotting allows to pay back the software purchase and installation with the first design done for a line only 30 or 40 km long."
